The only other post about it is six years old, and I'm sure literally everything has changed since then. lol
I'm running JAWS 15, Windows 7, and IE11 (with the occasional switch to Firefox I-don't-know-what-version-at-the-moment). I don't yet have a phone that can do the Internet accessibly. I tried to use Tumblr once and couldn't even set up an account. I looked for a mobile site (since those tend to work better), but I don't think they have one. Has anyone ever found a way to make the site accessible? I hope so, because I'd really like to have an account. I plan on doing some accessibility research but thought I'd ask here first.
Becky
I get people sending me links from Tumblr sometimes. Now bear in mind we're
the middle aged has-beens who are usually poking a little fun at all the attack
helicopters and other identities on there and the people wanting to sensor the
rest of us lol. But I can't make sense out of those links when I get them. You
open it and the page just says reblog reblog reblog and shows pics I think. I
gotta rely on my bar buddies to tell me what these Tumblr SJW's are up to next
lol.
I don't know if it's accessibility or me being not good with some of these kinds
of sites.
One would think with all their clamor about diversity they wouldn't exclude you
on account of accessibility, but then again I personally think most them and
their opinions are largely fake. If they weren't fake, they'd help the likes of you,
someone who articulates intelligently. You might just be too good for that site
though.
Leo, a big part of it is that the most popular stuff on tumblr is image based meme content.
When people just use text to post, tumblr works well enough, or did on my mac.
